The crochet hat is made with with 250 yds bulky-weight yarn and U.S. size M/13/9mm hook.
One size fits most. Circumference: Approx 22" (when stretched out). Height: 9" with a 3" fold

The knit hat is made with 250 yds bulky-weight yarn and U.S. size 13/9mm double-point and 16" circular needles.

Crocheted My Little Pony Unicorn.
My granddaughter loves unicorns, ponies and horses!
This pattern uses a cotton sport weight yarn and a 2.5mm hook. The final pony will be about 20 cm high.
The pattern has a clear photo tutorial for assembling all the crocheted parts.
The pattern is listed as intermediate difficulty.

Crochet Couverture Blanket
This is different and a really neat twist on the traditional granny square blanket.
Scroll down on that page and then click on the link that says "Click here to show tutorial". It's a chart showing you how to lay out and connect the squares, rectangles and L-shaped pieces and also a symbol chart on how to crochet the pieces.
At first I thought this would be a difficult but after looking over it over for a few minutes I don't think it would be too hard to make.

Spring Bouquet Afghan Knit Pattern
This is amazing, it's a knit afghan with a quilt look!
Do you love the look of handmade quilts but don't want to sew? Well, now you can knit one.
Blocks are knit with two colors in garter stitch using simple increases and decreases, then sewn together to form the "quilt."
This afghan is made with worsted-weight yarn using U.S. size 8/5mm needles. Finished size is 54" square

Elements cal Blanket/Throw Free Crochet Pattern
Wow! Have a look at this pattern designed by Sandra Kuijer. There is a free pattern, but the others are for sale.
The pattern is for a full blanket starting with the square in the middle and worked in rounds.
These are made with sportweight yarn, but you could use any weight, however sizes would be different.
You have to download all 8 pdfs for the full pattern.

Dump Truck Afghan
So sweet! Little boys will love to have this afghan.
This afghan is made using either a corner-to-corner pattern following color changes on a graph or a row-by-row word chart, whichever you prefer to use.
